Grant to support famed arts education program at the
Dulwich Picture Gallery in London. The program includes development
of art skills, arts sciences, adolescent internships, courses
for senior citizens as well as training for school social
history programs. The Dulwich Picture Gallery pioneered
the concept of art being fully integrated into the school
curriculum. For example, painting courses involve the
science and chemistry department. This endeavor has
developed many materials which are utilized in education
programs
throughout the English speaking world.

Flagstaff Unified School District,
Flagstaff, Arizona
Grant to support the creation of a living archive of Navajo
artifacts. The combined written, pictorial and oral
history of the Navajos will be utilized in an academically
based school and community cultural program housed within
a traditional Navajo Hogan located at the Flagstaff Unified
School District's Leupp School community on the Navajo Reservation
in Arizona. This will be the first program of its kind
and is hoped to be a prototype for future projects.

Grant to support summer camp at Gales Creek, Oregon, which
provides camping experiences for diabetic children from the
Pacific Northwest area.

Edinburgh, Scotland
Final installment of three-year grant totaling $30,000.00
to assist in the establishment of a community foundation for
Scotland. Several American community foundations and
consultants are helping the Foundation develop grant-making
structures and practices. Our grant will provide seed
money to assist in staffing support to launch the Foundation.
